have announced the Cash
and Contingency Awards
from this past Sunday’s
Southern Slam 250 event
for the CRA Super Series
at the South Georgia
Motorsports Park in
Cecil, Georgia. In order
to receive Cash Bonus
Awards the racecar must
properly display each
sponsors stickers on
both sides of their
racecar The $3,575 in
total awards listed
below is in addition to
the events purse payout

Drawdy Wins Southern Slam
250
Cecil, GA (November 25,
2008) –
Ft.
Pierce, Florida native
Justin Drawdy got his
biggest late model win
ever on Sunday
afternoon in the inaugural
Southern Slam 250 CRA
Super Series sanctioned
event at the South Georgia
Motorsports Park just
north of Valdosta,
Georgia. Drawdy overcame
an early spin to hold off
Jack Landis and then Augie
Grill in the late laps of
the event to get the win.

Fast Qualifier
Augie Grill has been fast
all weekend, but not the
fastest in any practice
session. He saved
his best for qualifying
turning a lap at 17.645 to
set fast time and earn the
pole for the Southern Slam
250. Jack Landis was
second fast, Justin Drawdy
who had battled brake
problems all day Saturday
finished third, Shane Sieg
fourth and Corey Williams
fifth.

Alex Haase set fast time
for the weekend with a
time of 17.837 seconds.
Jack Landis was second in
the practice session with

Annual Southern Slam 250,
a 250 lap, $10,000 to win
late model event that will
take place on November 21st,
22nd and 23rd
at the South Georgia

Georgia Motor Sports Park

Southern Slam 250 weekend
live on Saturday Nov 22,
and Sunday Nov, 23. The
race coverage will include
all of the preliminary
action from Saturday night
as well as the full 250
lap feature on Sunday.
Broadcast time for
Saturday is 6:30 until the
evening of racing wraps up
and broadcast time for the
race on Sunday is 1:00pm
with the Pro Shocks Green
Flag Preview followed by
all of the exciting racing
from Green flag to
checkered flag. The BSRN
was established to bring
MRN type coverage for
short track asphalt and
dirt track racing.

Racing Association Awards
Banquet will be held at
the Hoosier Park Racing &
Casino in Anderson,

Awards Banquet will be
held on Saturday evening,
January 10, 2009 in the
Homestretch Clubhouse of
the Horse Track at Hoosier
Park. The 2008 Champion
Racing Association
Champions will be honored
in the CRA Super Series,
Howe CRA Sportsman Series,
CRA Street Stocks and
Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA
FWD Compacts, along with
all the top fifteen teams
